Assessing The Weekend: Disappointment At St. Anna
The results are in and as predicted, Eagle Eye crushed the competition at the box office, raking in $29,150,721, a respectable $8,305 per screen. The marketing and good buzz proved quite a boost. Miracle at St. Anna was on the opposite end of the spectrum, making a paltry $3,477,996.

Casablanca- The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Nottingham, Starring Russell Crowe and Russell Crowe
Russell Crowe signed on long ago to play the Sheriff of Nottingham in Ridley Scott’s Nottingham, but finding someone to play Robin Hood has really drug out. The role would probably require a strong hand, since in this version of the Robin Hood legend Robin Hood is the villain and the Sheriff of Nottingham is the hero.

As October looms ahead, we can only prepare for the great month of quality movies ahead of us. But, to celebrate the late season of blockbusters, I had to go back to the basics and see the much-hyped Shia LaBeouf in “Eagle Eye.”

Being a responsible guy, I took my car in for it’s 3000 mile oil change. Being a cheap guy, I took it took it to Jiffy Lube instead of the dealership.

I Will Be Legend
So, everybody loves a winner. Especially movie studios when that winner pulls in almost $600 million. In hopes of making another winner, Warner Brothers gave a green light to an I Am Legend prequel. The plan is for the story to cover the final days as the virus cleans out New York.
